Harveys House: Brighton, East Sussex

We were approached by a customer looking to finish a problematic indoor swimming pool started by another company, in their Brighton home. They wanted to complete a private indoor swimming pool that they could rent out to families who were interested in taking their children swimming in a relaxed and fun environment.

As the pool needed to maintain a warm temperature of 32 degrees, we had to make sure the systems we installed maintained heat as well as possible. The client also wanted a salt chlorinated pool to give a softer feeling when in the water and to ensure it was kinder to skin and hair.

Fitting the equipment in was a challenge as they only had a very small space for the plant room. We installed ‘pearl white’ fibreglass, alongside a deep bed filter with glass media, dosing system (Zodiac Salt and pH dosing) with a variable speed circulation pump and colour changing LED Lights. 

To ensure the pool had adequate heating without excessive heat loss, we installed the HeatSaver auto dosing liquid blanket. A HeatStar air handling unit controls the water, air and humidification of the whole building.

The big reveal shows this unique and beautiful swimming pool. The dedicated space at Harveys House offers a high end swimming experience for families, with a range of additional features such as lighting and bluetooth integration.

The final result is stunning and has quickly become a real conversation piece. We’re delighted to have got it over the line for them and continue to support them with maintenance and technical support as required.
